Solutions to Your Valve Type Problems
Ordinary ball valves may stick or jam due to buildup on the ball, increasing operating torque and wearing out the seats. Our 4000 Series features a patented PFA*-fused ball specifically designed to prevent build-up and ensure positive shutoff. The flexible and modular design of our 4000 Series makes adding accessories and automation a breeze.
Gate valves are built to an ANSI Class IV standard and leak by design. The seating surfaces are constantly exposed to buildup and wear, rendering them useless and impossible to operate over time. Our 4000 Series has the same end-to-end dimensions (ANSI B16.10) as any 125/150 class gate valve, weighs less, and takes up less space. The full-port design means that flow is unrestricted and seating surfaces are fully protected in both open and closed positions.
Butterfly valves feature a disc in the middle of the waterway, restricting flow and accumulating debris. The seats are fully exposed to wear, making them unreliable. 4000 Series valve seats are made from reinforced Teflon®, with a back ring for low pressure applications.
